1st Dailytrust Agric Conference - Mr Rotimi Williams Submission
Mr Rotimi Williams Submission
Discussed policy formulation. He also criticized the rice data given by the FMARD,
as data he acquired from the Nigerian Rice Growers Association was totally
different. He highlighted that rice data is determined based on two (2)
references i.e. Paddy rice Production and Milling Capacity, indicating that,
FMARD’s data on rice for the year 2014 shows Paddy rice Production rising from
3.7 metric tons to 10.8 metric tons (about 60% recovery), while Milling
capacity 70,000kg – 800,000kg daily.
He also explained the six (6) processes involved
in Rice Production i.e. seed
producer-farming-millers-packaging-storing-distribution. More concentration
should be on production i.e. farming.
He recommended that rice importation
should not be banned for now, but rather the levy issued on imported rice
should be used to develop the rice industry.

Farm R&D - Farmers Information Platform
Farms R&D - Farmers Information Platform
Undoubtedly Information is power. The acquisition and management of high-quality information or data is a tool that is used to develop the Agric Sector. Any Organization or Individual promising development without adequate data on farms within the Zone, is only playing a game.
My Projects this Xmas is to design a Platform for the Directorate that will link farmers to a central platform for Business, Loans, Research, and Statistics on their farms and localities.
Really, to develop the rural areas, an updated and robust platform is required, with such a valid platform empowerment is guaranteed both for the R&D expert and the Farmer.

the farm transformer
the farm transformers...
....the farm transformation is like a Toyota hybrid car project, seeking a fast, smart and reliable farming technology, one which helps the farmer grow, either in the rural or urban. the farm transformation, as an example, brings together best farming practice in livestock farming and arable crop farming. the techniques are to predict and determine climatic patterns, soil structures, soil value and behavior over a period, then use seeds (improved) to farm on them, also livestock would be sustained by farming what they eat, rotating the crops to meet the required mix.

Technology and Education in Bosso Community!!
the basic eduction sponsored by the Government in the recent years have been very poor, but it is not only the responsibility of the Government alone to watch and monitor the condition of government primary schools within Bosso Community. the Cooperate World, the parents, the leaders and even productive youths of Bosso Community all have a role to play, they are all stakeholders in this project. i personally find it insulting and embarrassing that in this present age schools exist without libraries. the R&D of Histar Global has seen this as the first major issue, whereby libraries are absent in Bosso Primary and even Secondary School, killing the source of development.

Histar Global - The Resource Managers
The Resources Control Strategy
The concept of developing a strategy/concept to reduce the wastage of resources in the environment is a needed part of development. In every Economy or Community which has a poor management of resources would not be able to achieve any developmental project. Even in our homes, offices or communities if leaders have poor resource management habits, the family, organization or community would always suffer and hence under-develop.
Histar Global in her vision to be amongst the most developed "entrepreneurial company of the future" developed mechanisms, concepts and systems to ensure proper utilization of resources in the Organizational, Community and Family Levels.
Thanks!!
